Griffin GRF-2N is a Medium-class 'Mech in Battletech.

Description[ | ]

The Griffin 2N is an old Star League model that was among the most versatile 'Mechs in its heyday. Its weapons generated a lot of heat, but the old Double Heat Sinks were put in to handle it. It's almost impossible to find those anymore, though.

  • SRM Brawler - Arguably the best Medium-Class Brawler, the 2N variant can comfortably fit 4 x SRM6 w/ 3 tons of ammunition and full jump jets to act as an effective mobile "shotgun", with remaining tonnage left over for additional armor, heat sinks, or more lasers.
  • SRM Skirmisher - Right Arm ER Large Laser; paired SRM 4 & SRM 6 in each side torso, each pair fed by one ton of ammo in each leg.
