Archer ARC-2S is a Heavy-class 'Mech in Battletech.
The Archer's ARC-2S variant trades some of its long-range punch to become even deadlier when it gets up close, mounting SRMs to follow up what its LRMs have battered. Its heat management still poses a huge problem, though, so its pilots have to stay very wary of overheating.
Unique Chassis Quirk - Missilery Suite (Right Torso, 1 Slot): Long-Range Missiles used by the Archer will cluster to hit the same section of the target rather than scattering. Short-Range Missiles deal 75% more Stability damage.
Default: 2 x LRM15s with 4t ammo; 2 x SRM4s with 2t ammo; four medium lasers.
Highly Armored and Mobile Close Assault: LRM10 with 2t ammo; SRM6 + SRM4 with 2t ammo; four medium lasers, four jump jets, three heat sinks. Increases armor, mobility, close range punch and heat dissipation at the expense of long-range attack power. Adaptable and useful in any biome given reasonable rates of fire, with 24 LRM and 20 SRM volleys in storage.
